COVID-19 POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Beginning on Tuesday, September 29, both the upper and lower studios in the New Dimensions building will be equipped with air purifiers that are designed for large rooms. In the main building, large-room air purifiers will also be used in the William Reif Gallery and in the lower-level Media Room. However, class sizes will still be limited to 50%  of capacity, so fewer people will be allowed in a class than pre-pandemic capacity.

To ensure the safety of all staff, visitors and students, the following policies and procedures apply: 

  • Everyone on campus must wear a mask in the buildings (and also outside if people are in close proximity to one another. An exception can be made for classes on the pavilion when students are able to keep a greater-than-6 foot distance from others.) An example of that could be drumming classes, where students can sit or stand approximately 10 feet apart.)
  • Persons not wearing masks will simply not be permitted in either of our buildings. 
  • Everyone coming into a building or studio must wash or sanitize their hands as their first “order of business” on entering.
  • Teachers will be responsible to disinfect tables/chairs/counters/potters wheels/shared tools between classes. Disinfecting sprays are available in every public area of both buildings.
  • All users of the interior spaces will be required to sign a waiver
  • Restrooms and common areas will be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.


CLASS REGISTRATION

Courses are filled on a first-come basis. If we do not receive payment for your registration within 24 hours, your registration may be cancelled. The determination of whether a program is held or not is based on PAID registrations. If payment is not received, your registration is not counted and the class may be cancelled.

Incomplete or partial attendance at programs is not encouraged. There is no reduction in fees if you are unable to attend all scheduled classes.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • If you cancel up to 7 calendar days prior to a program or event, your payment, less the $10 non-refundable deposit minus the 3% service fee, will be refunded (unless otherwise noted).
  • If you cancel 4 days in advance, you may have your payment, less the non-refundable deposit, transferred to another program.
  • In the last 3 days, there are no refunds.
  • Womanspace reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment by the registration deadline, in which case, full refunds will be made.
