Meditation is the practice and process of paying attention and focusing your awareness. Different forms of meditation are introduced like Sitting Breathing, Body Scan and Loving Kindness meditations. They are practiced in a seated position with a soothing voice guiding you through the process! Do join us via Zoom — those who have taken this class over the past couple of years say it’s a great way to de-stress, re-charge and re-focus — and all without having to worry about the commute!

Suggested equipment: Comfortable attire, comfortable chair/seat or a yoga mat/rug if you prefer to sit on the floor.

It’s unlike anything you have ever experienced before. Imagine floating in an ocean of sound, where you can let go of all your stress and worries. Gongs, Singing Bowls, Bells, and other instruments ring out, creating waves of vibrations that wash over you. Your body and energy systems are able to realign and recharge, helping to clear out blockages, while leaving you refreshed and reawakened.

What to Bring: a comfortable chair, yoga mat, blanket or whatever you need to get comfortable for the event. Folding chairs are available if you forget your own, but they're not "cozy" chairs. And, do dress for the weather.

This event is scheduled to take place in the Anjali Pavilion (covered outside pavilion) if weather permits. You will be notified if a change of location occurs.

Advanced Registration is encouraged, this event often SELLS OUT.  Walk-ins will be welcomed if space is available.

Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning 'Universal Life Force Energy' and describes the energy found in all of life. An ancient form of hands on energy healing, Reiki is a skill obtained through an attunement (opening) to bring the power of Universal Life Force Energy through the human chakra system. The energy then is used to balance the body or an object by bringing it into harmony with the universe once again.

Learn the hand positions for self-healing and for the healing treatments of others. We will talk about the seven major chakras and the history of the Usui System of Natural Healing. You will receive your first attunement. We will also have time to practice feeling energy and giving Reiki to each other.

Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing, with no jewelry or perfumes.  Bring a sack lunch.

Learn symbols and mantras to focus and deepen the healing treatment of the Reiki energy. We will talk about the sacredness of the Reiki symbols. Begin to learn ways to send Reiki through time and distance, allowing healing in the past to improve the present. We will have time to practice feeling energy by giving Reiki to each other. Must have completed Reiki I (Sign up for Reiki I and II in the same weekend!) Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing, with no jewelry or perfumes. Bring a sack lunch.
