Discover poetry that moves the soul, beyond theology, from a primal language that brings us together. We will speak it, carry its words onto music, interact with it, bring our voices to it, find ways to express its beauty and truth, and take it home with you. Try writing lines yourself between sessions.
We greatly appreciate Jim donating his time, expertise, and perspective for this class. Your registration fee and/or donation will go directly to Womanspace to support our programming.

Come join us in the Reif Gallery for a special evening with longtime Womanspace member Marge Orchard as she shares her newly released book, "And I Came to Be," the second installment of her memoir. Hear Marge reflect on her journey to heal herself and find happiness. Following her talk, there will be a book signing and an opportunity to connect with Marge personally. Don’t miss this celebration of her remarkable journey and literary achievement!
From the back cover:
In the second volume of her memoir, Margaret continues her fascinating exploration of her life experiences in her attempts to heal herself and find happiness. In this work, she shows her efforts to go beyond the limited thinking of her childhood years. Her search gives her an opportunity to investigate and feel a world outside the shelter of the children's home and convent. Her relationships with her siblings, mother, and stepfather become driving forces as she determines what path she is to follow. Travel with Margaret as she overcomes her fears and lets go of what she was taught and her beliefs of not being enough. Her enthralling journey is a powerful example of a determined woman who seeks peace with her past and creates her future.
