Slip Trailing (CW22N-41)

Ages 16+. This class is for those who want a delicate finish to their pottery pieces. Slip trailing is the application to a clay surface of lines or slip using a fine-pointed dispenser. Slip Trailing can be applied to any type of pottery. Slip trailing adds another dimension to pieces through decorative lines or unconventional shapes. The technique of slip trailing will be demonstrated. You will have an opportunity to practice and refine your skill under the guidance of the instructor. 

Bring pieces of pottery that have been thrown and are partially dried (leather hard). All pieces should be trimmed as needed before the class time. All needed equipment will be provided.
