For the Love of Clay! Advanced Pottery II (CW22B-42)

Ages 16+. Intermediate–Advanced. [Prerequisite: beginner throwing and handbuilding skills mastered or instructor approval.] . If you are looking to sharpen or expand your clay throwing skills, this is the class for you! Form, Function and Finesse will be the class baseline. Each week, at a fast learning pace, we will broaden into alternate techniques of design and surface. Participant input on what to explore next is highly encouraged. Instructor demos and individual attention will be given as requested.

Participants must bring their own tools, including several throwing bats to store their larger pieces. Additional time outside of class may be needed for finishing pieces since we will not cover glazing techniques.

Class includes 50lbs of clay, glazes, and firing. Suggested important tools to bring are personal bats, soft red rib/s and finishing sponge.
