In this workshop, we will explore writing prompts and oral exercises to enhance your creative juices, resulting in the creation of your own poetry and descriptive narratives. You will be amazed at your new ability to "spin a yarn" using the skills experienced in this class. Don't be shy about your writing ability. This is an experience to try out your creative side using new skills with total acceptance o f whatever comes forth as a result of this "romp through the forest of words".

Bring a copy of a poem you personally like, a pen or pencil, and a writing tablet or pad of paper.
