My story of "why" is a result of a long journey of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, occupational, social, and relational knock-outs. If you have ever watched a MMA fight, you see the fighter's simultaneous desperation and determination to win the fight. Similarly, I have felt the pain, frustration, confusion, despair, and the feeling of drowning in stagnant water as a result of life's rapid fire assaults. From being an abused child, a teen mother, homeless at 18, diagnosed with an autoimmune illness at 19, and experiences beyond what seems "normal" in life, I finally decided that just barely keeping my head at surface level was not the life I was destined to live.

Identifying my life’s calling and distinct mission propelled me to a place where I can use my pain to help others achieve their best. I have not “arrived” but instead, focus on the journey of exploration and growth. My story shares what it is to be human, and how to move from a place of surviving to thriving!!
