    Ages 18+. Beginner friendly. Watercolor painting is like assembling a puzzle.
    Each week, we’ll focus on one of those pieces by creating a project that reinforces watercolor techniques and color-mixing skills. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have taken classes before, these sessions will offer plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Every session will include hands-on watercolor technique instruction and color-mixing exploration. Classes are fast-paced, engaging, and creative—you’ll be producing artwork every time we meet. Each session also includes a guided individual project designed to be completed by the end of class.

     Students will need to bring the following supplies with them to class:

    • Watercolor paints -  Your choice; a small selection of basic colors is fine.
    • Watercolor paper - Cold Press minimum size  9” x 12” in. 
    • Watercolor brushes -  Round brushes & recommended sizes are: 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10

    Cancellation & Refund Policy

    Paid enrollment in a Womanspace class must be cancelled in order for the student to be eligible for a refund. A refund (minus a $10 non-refundable deposit, minus the 4% service fee) will be granted according to the following:

    Intermediate–Advanced. This independent study offers watercolor artists the space to create, explore, and refine their skills within a supportive community. Participants work independently, bring their own supplies, and may occasionally invite special guests or share techniques with one another.

    Ages 16+. All levels. Want to keep moving forward with your painting skills? Check out this guided open studio class for watercolor and acrylic painters! Jaymee will provide individual instruction based on your creative goals. Feel free to bring your own reference imagery and ideas, or peruse Jaymee’s collection of art samples for inspiration! Some previous painting experience is beneficial, but not always necessary. Absolute beginners should be prepared to work on painting exercises before moving on to individual work. Since instruction is individual, there will be plenty of independent work time as Jaymee spends time with each student.

    Cost includes a $20 supply fee. This covers paper, brushes, canvases and professional grade paints, but feel free to bring your favorites! Register EARLY! This class fills fast!
