VOLUNTEERS

An important part of the mission of Womanspace is to provide and promote leadership and volunteer opportunities for women. Of course, the partners and children of members as well as their friends are also welcome as volunteers!

The best way to get involved is to email our Volunteer Coordinator, Melody Pearson to set up a volunteer interview. She will help you determine what would best fit your skill set, availability, and interests.

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO HELP  (This is not an exhaustive list).

  • Serve on a committee (see below).
  • Coordinate (chair) various special events presented by Womanspace (Restyle the Runway, BloomFest, Glitzy Garage Sale, etc.)
  • Serve as “greeter” or “program host” for workshops or special events. (Greet participants; introduce speaker; participate in the program; clean up.)
  • Assist with office tasks such as answer phones, staff the front desk, class registration, etc.
  • Prepare or donate food for gallery openings, new member events, special events, etc.
  • Host gallery opening receptions in the Loretta & William Reif Gallery.
  • Give hands-on help with physical tasks such as garden work, maintenance and repair of the buildings, painting, driving, doing errands, etc.
