Restyle the Runway: A Fall Fashion-Forward Show

Tad More Tailoring and Womanspace are teaming up to create a unique afternoon filled with food, shopping, artwork and, of course, a fashion show! Showcasing reimagined and restyled clothing items donated by generous community members, Restyle the Runway may inspire you to rethink your wardrobe. Shop donated clothing items* throughout the event, and consult stylists from Tad More Tailoring to help you turn your purchases into chic, restyled, upcycled fashion.

Enjoy a delicious lunch, sip libations, and browse the art show by artists using recycled fabric in their work all for the best cause in town — Womanspace.

Space for this special fundraising event is limited to 160 people so reserve early to assure your space. Luncheon choice can be selected at the time of registering.

Menu Choices (All lunches are served with delicious dinner rolls and your choice of beverage. Dessert: Vegan-friendly Very Berry Cake):

1. Grilled Chicken Asian Salad – Fresh greens tossed with water chestnuts, green onions, slivered pea pods and shredded carrots, topped with vegan chow mein noodles, grilled chicken, and sesame ginger vinaigrette dressing. 
2. Vegan Asian Salad – Same as above without the chicken.
3. Mixed Greens Salad with Grilled Chicken – Fresh spinach & greens with walnuts, blue cheese, cranberries, and red onions topped with grilled chicken. 
4. Grilled Citrus Salmon – served with rice pilaf and asparagus.

*Dressing areas will be available to try on items. You can even set up off-site alteration and restyling appointments with Tad More Tailoring! Any remaining items will be donated to Rockford University’s Student Closet, where students can find clothing for their professional job interviews!
