10:00–11:00 am

Instructor: Rhiannon Yandell

IDPH and CDC guidelines about face masks will be observed.

This 60 minute, all-levels class will begin with pranayama: breathing exercises developed by the ancient yogis for purification, mental focus, rejuvenation, and healing, followed by a high energy vinyasa sequence, incorporating poses meant to encourage the flow of prana (vital life force energy) through the body, all in a room heated to 85-90 degrees. Each class will end with some time for deep relaxation or Savasana.

Mats and props are available for use or bring your own. Bring a bottle of water to hydrate before, during, and after class.

Benefits of hot yoga include improved circulation, skin nourishment, greater lung capacity, and a higher rate of calories burned.

Hot yoga may not be safe for people with certain conditions such as pregnancy, heart conditions, diabetes, autoimmune disease, high blood pressure, and vertigo.

Register two day before each class.
