Maya Lin, whose parents came from China, was the chosen designer/architect of the Vietnam War Memorial when she was a senior at Yale University studying to be an architect. Since that time she has created many structures both inside and outside that express her mission to have people notice, think about, enjoy and be part of nature and her creations.
