6:00–7:30 pm

Facilitator:  Hannah Warren

In 2008, at the age of 24, after learning about the plight of female weavers while taking their portraits in Maheshwar, Madya Pradesh, India, Hannah Warren was inspired to found Jhoole (pronounced Joo lay), a non-profit, eco fashion, social enterprise designed to combat poverty and empower women. Jhoole will impact over 2,000 people by the end of this year. Hear the women's stories, brought to life by images and videos, and learn about the exciting plans for future collaborations between Jhoole and Womanspace. The presentation will be followed by a discussion on Women's rights globally and how to be an advocate for women's empowerment worldwide.
