Constance McCarthy of the Rock River Valley chapter of Wild Ones

Learn about how you can support and attract pollinators, butterflies, insects, birds, and other wildlife to your home landscape, as well as how to reduce your carbon footprint, protect water resources, and help kids better connect with the natural world. Resources for obtaining flowers, grasses, and trees that are native to our area will be shared, as well as opportunities for you to learn more and get involved.

Constance McCarthy is president of the Rock River Valley chapter of Wild Ones, a national nonprofit organization that supports the use of native plants in home and business landscapes. She is also a University of Illinois Master Gardener and Master Composter in Winnebago county.

Advance registration is appreciated. Walk-ins welcome.
