IDPH and CDC guidelines about face masks are observed.
Both the upper and lower studios in the New Dimensions building are equipped with air purifiers that are designed for large rooms. In the main building, air purifiers are also used in the William Reif Gallery and in the lower-level Media Room. However, class sizes will still be limited, so fewer people will be allowed in a class than our pre-pandemic capacity to allow for social distancing.

DOG POLICYAll dogs on the Womanspace property must be on a leash and under the owner’s control at all times. All dog waste must be picked up by the owner and disposed of properly. Dogs are not allowed in the studio (upper or lower) during classes or open studio times. Dogs are not allowed in the main building during classes, although they may be brought in for short visits. Reasons for this policy include the following: not everyone is comfortable around dogs; dogs can be a distraction in a classroom setting; some people are allergic; some people are afraid of dogs. With the variety of class participants, we need to be mindful of these issues. If you bring your dog to Womanspace when you are working on something else (other than a class or open studio), the dog must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Dogs cannot be tied up outside and left alone / unattended. (There are local coyotes around). If you do bring your dog, you must clean up after it. This means removing any and all: bowls, treats, hair, prints, and bodily waste. If you do not clean up after your dog, you will not be welcome to bring it to Womanspace again. |
