The long struggle for women’s suffrage shows us that activism isn’t new but that it has been woven into individual and collective stories of empowerment for a very long time. Committed people have always brought about social and political change by grouping with others of like mind – and we still do this today.
In this exhibit, marking 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment, artists will celebrate women’s empowerment – not only at the ballot box, but in all aspects of life.
This exhibit is free and open to the public.
