Monetary Gifts
Womanspace is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. Contributions to Womanspace are tax deductible in the manner and to the extent allowed by law. Since Womanspace is not funded by any outside organization, our donors provide the vital support that allows our programming to remain strong and accessible to many. Donors, through their monetary contributions, share in a very real way in the mission of Womanspace.
We accept gifts of cash in any amount as well as gifts of appreciated securities. If you have a question about contributions, please call 815-877-0118 and speak with either Elaine Hirschenberger (Executive Director), or Dorothy Bock (Development Director).
The Legacy Project
Individuals who wish to leave a lasting legacy to the community through Womanspace are invited to contact our Development Office about making a gift to the Womanspace Endowment that will ensure our services into the future. Outright gifts, charitable remainder trusts, annuities, bequests, and gifts of stock are all options that can be explored as vehicles for your charitable giving. Naming opportunities, endowment of a particular facet of the Womanspace operation, and expansion of our facilities and services are all part of the larger plan of the Womanspace Legacy Project.
