This is our biggest and longest-running fundraiser and your one-stop donation site. We are not accepting items until May 9, 2017 (Sorry we cannot accept any items before this date). If you think an item is questionable, please call Womanspace at 815-877-0118.

Two Men and a Truck Two Men and a Truck We have limited storage space! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK will be available on a scheduled day for free pick-up of large items ONLY that you want to donate. Call TWO MEN AND A TRUCK at 815-633-3600 to schedule a pick-up. Smaller items & boxes need to be dropped off separately.


Items We Will NOT & CANNOT Accept

  • NO Encyclopedias/textbooks/magazines

  • NO Appliances that need major repair

  • NO Medical/healthcare equipment

  • NO TVs, computers, monitors

  • NO Traverse rods or curtain rods of any type

  • NO Dirty, stained or torn clothing – Do not send it!

  • NO Large couches (unless they are spectacular; call first!)

  • NO Water bed frames or ANY mattresses

  • NO Tires, other large “oddities” that are very specialized

  • NO Infant/toddler car seats

  • NO Christmas Trees

  • NO Skis

  • And PLEASE, if it's dirty, broken or been a home to critters, we really do NOT want it.


Acceptable Items

We will be glad to accept: (clean usable items)

  • Books, tapes, DVDs, & CDs

  • Small appliances (but NO TVs and NO MONITORS)

  • Arts & crafts; seasonal items (but NO CHRISTMAS TREES)

  • Clean linens, drapes, pillows, rugs

  • Luggage, purses, shoes, boots

  • Clothing for men, women, children and infants (clean and in good repair – best on hangers)

  • Tables, chairs, loveseats, lamps, desks, dressers, night stands, etc.

  • Cribs, playpens, highchairs, all CLEAN baby items

  • Toys, games, puzzles, bikes, strollers, swings

  • Gardening supplies, garden furniture, grills, benches, tools, hardware, outdoor cushions, mats

  • Sporting goods, exercise equipment in good condition (NO SKIS)

  • Live plants


Regarding Furniture

Because we have such limited storage space, we would appreciate your bringing out large items no earlier than the week of the garage sale itself.
