New Dimensions Studio
An integral part of Womanspace, New Dimensions Studio exists to further the creative education of women, men, and children, to promote skillful application of the fine arts, to enhance the Rockford area cultural community, and to provide support for the ongoing programs of Womanspace.
The fully accessible New Dimensions Studio has a dedicated clay area in the lower level where classes in sculpture as well as wheel-thrown and handbuilt are taught. Electric kilns in the lower level of our studio along with the outside Raku kiln are the magical chambers from which amazing works of ceramic art emerge!
Classes in watercolor, acrylic and oil painting, drawing, collage, bookmaking, printmaking, beading and beadmaking, and many other art forms are taught in the upper level of the studio.
Open Studio hours are available at a nominal charge for affiliated artists and students who have already completed an art class at Womanspace.
