Learn to make goat's milk soap using the cold process method. At the end of the class you will be taking about two pounds of soap home with you. This class will be fun, informative and easy to do! We will talk about using essential oils and natural colorants in your soap to keep it as pure and natural as possible. The soap will be molded into milk carton, which will be provided. If you would like to use a decorative mold, please bring only silicone molds (found in the cake decorating isle at local craft stores or online). Plastic molds do not work well with the cold process soap. You will be working with lye and will learn how to handle it properly. Wear long sleeves, pants and closed toed shoes. Gloves and goggles will be provided, as well as all the ingredients for the soap. If you wish to use essential oils, please bring only 100% pure oils from a reputable company.
