Introduction to the versatile and exciting art medium of polymer clay (PC). Learn how to select proper clay type, safe handling, conditioning, firing, and finishing. The focus of this class is wood grain and metal-look trim, as well as basic sculpting. Together we will create Bottles of Hope, polymer clay covered bottles that are donated to persons undergoing cancer treatments (bottlesofhope.org). A starter kit of basic clay tools, equipment, and clay is ordered for you when you register (included in fee) and is nonrefundable ($30). The instructor will bring additional tools, findings, and clay, which can be purchased. You will leave behind the gift of Bottles of Hope while acquiring new skills and appreciation for the beauty of PC.   Please note early registration deadline:  7/25
