REACH FOR THE
ARTS

Take home an original piece
of art through this unique fundraiser. Enjoy an event that caters to your best
sensibilities: fine food and wine, beautiful music by the Jodi Beach Trio,
original artwork donated by over 100 of this region’s best and most generous
artists. Every ticket holder’s name is entered into a raffle drawing.
During the evening, all names are selected at some
time under the direction of an emcee. When your name is called, you may choose
and later take home one the many pieces of art on display. (The pool of art from
which you can select depends on when your name is called.)
Come for an evening of fun, dancing, and wonderful
art appreciation at this gala event! Tables of 8 or 10 are available.
Couples and singles are welcome! Besides the art selection described above,
there is also a special LIVE AUCTION.

GLITZY GARAGE
SALE

The Glitzy Garage Sale, “grandmother of all Womanspace
fun raisers,” supports our values of reusing and recycling and is held on the grounds of the Center
the first weekend in June, Friday through Sunday.
The week before the sale is
an intensive and fun experience of camaraderie, share work and
decision-making, as members and friends transform the driveway, tents and
garage into “bargain central.”
Donations of goods are
accepted beginning in early May. On the final day of the sale, all items
are half-price; clothing is $2/bag. This famous event runs on the strength
of many volunteers and the donation of things to sell from hundreds of
members and friends!
WOMEN’S GOLF PLAYDAY

The Women’s Golf Playday promises stateline area women golfers not only a
day of great golf; this enjoyable event includes a continental breakfast, a
luncheon, a tee raffle, challenge events and lots of wonderful prizes.
Invitations are sent out in March;
if you are a golfer and have not played in this outing before, be sure to call
the Center to get your name (and your foursome) on the invitation list.
The Women’s Golf Playday fills
quickly, so be sure to watch for information and updates in the Web.
